ABOUT US 🇺🇦
We are Ukrainian design creators united by a shared dream. Some of us temporarily left Ukraine during the war. Although we are all friends and now live in different European countries, we continue to work on joint projects.
For over two years, our creative team has been speaking the language of art and theatrical design, responding to the constant changes in the world. Each moment feels both fleeting and persistent—much like the interaction between the "real" and the "unreal" explored in this year’s Dutch Design Week theme.
Our project, a collection of theatrical costumes made from discarded rubber Crocs, embodies this idea. We are reimagining waste as an opportunity, combining real materials with unreal concepts of new forms and functions. Like contemporary designers, we challenge traditional notions of sustainability and value.
This period of change inspires our creativity. We believe in the significance of the "here and now," using costume as a medium to express our inner experiences and responses to external transformations. This collection of theatrical imagery invites dialogue from those who are not yet ready to embrace change and helps find new ways of self-expression.
Our project is not just a collection of costumes. It is our response to a constantly shifting world, a way to tell stories of resilience, adaptation, and beauty emerging from chaos. We are rethinking what is considered waste, creating something new and special, challenging reality and offering alternative ways to envision the future.
